Divandareh is located 98 kilometers north of Sanandaj and at an altitude of 1850 meters above sea level. This city has a mountainous climate with cold winters and mild and mild summers, and due to its proximity to Iran from the east, that is, Bijar city, it has a similar climate to this city.Divandreh city has three parts "Merkazi", "Krafto" and "Saral", two cities "Divandreh" and "Zarinah" and nine rural areas.This area covers about 15% of the Kurdistan province. Many rivers flow in Divandreh city, most of them flow from melting snow and seasonal rains. Divandre is one of the main centers of wheat production and animal husbandry in Kurdistan province due to the existence of very wide plains of Obatu and Saral. Agriculture and animal husbandry, along with service activities, play an essential role in the economy and life of the people of this region. The existence of many ancient monuments, such as the Karftu Cave, tells about the ancient civilization of this region, which dates back to two thousand years BC. The language of the people of Divandareh is Kurdish Surani and they have their own accent.

krafto Cave

Karafto Cave is the largest hand-hewn cave in Iran, which is 750 meters long. This winding path branches off into various openings and corridors, and for this reason, no one has been able to identify all these paths and prepare a complete map of it. Karafto Cave is considered one of the most attractive sights in the west of the country and is a collection of natural beauties and human efforts to overcome nature and live a better and safer life.

Chel Chama Mountain

Saral is one of the three districts in Divandareh city, which consists of 43 villages and has green pastures and many historical and scenic places. There are a lot of people of the province and travelers and tourists from other provinces of the country.The pristine area of Saral has a lush and refreshing spring due to proper rainfall. Saral pastures are always known as one of the first grade pastures in Iran.From the mountains of Saral, we can refer to ZarRdavan, Zerawai Shirkuzh, Kalaw rash, qalarineh , Tawriz khatun, mara dar, Sheikh Latif, Chara Swar, Qazalbalag, Kal kozh , barda Rsh and barda  Spi.
