The city of Kamyaran

Kamyaran county is one of the cities of Kurdistan province in the west of Iran. This city is located 65 km south of Sanandaj. According to the general census of 2015, the population of this city was equal to 102,856 people. Kamyaran county has 2 cities, Kamyaran as the city center and Mochesh city. Kamyaran is the southernmost city of Kurdistan province and is located on the Morvarid fault and is surrounded by a fence of Shahu and Biston mountains. Biston mountain in the south of Kamyaran plain is one of the extensions of the Zagros mountain range. Kamyaran city shares a border with Kermanshah province.

Palangan tourist village

Palangan village is one of the most spectacular villages in Kurdistan province, which is also called Palangan by the local people. Palengan, with its amazing staircase architecture and beautiful and pristine nature, has been registered in the country's national heritage list and has the nicknames "Lost Paradise" and "Kurdistan Masuleh". Palangan village is a valuable example of terraced villages in Kamyaran in Kurdistan province. We will travel to this village together and have a unique excursion in its beautiful nature.

Inscription Tangivar

Tangivar inscription 45 kilometers northwest of Kamiyaran in Kurdistan province and 500 meters from Tangivar village and in the gorge of Zainane mountains, on the highest point of the mountain rock, remains of an inscription and a relief can be seen, which is in Assyrian cuneiform script 

And it is carved  in an archway with a height of 120 cm, a width of 770 cm, and a depth of 35 cm. It is probably the image of the Assyrian King Sargon II. The date of the inscription probably corresponds to the second millennium or the beginning of the third millennium BC.

Shaho's residence

One of the highest mountains in Kurdistan province is Shahu Mountain, which has a height of three thousand three hundred and ninety meters and an area of 57,236 cities. It is located near the cities of Kamiyaran, Marivan and Saro Abad. Shahu mountain is one of the Zagros mountain ranges and the most famous mountain of Oraman.

Kurdish Nowruz

Kurdish Nowruz is held at the end of March. The reason for that is the warmer climate of this region and the earlier growth of spring plants compared to other cold regions of the province. This Nowruz is celebrated in Oramanat region, centered in Palangan village. Lighting the fire, Kurdish dance and distribution of traditional sweets and cookies are among the things done in this ceremony.

The path of Avalan Heights

Avalan is a mountain with a height of 2970 meters in the city of Kamiyaran and overlooking Sanandaj Kamiyaran road. Also, this mountain is known by other names such as Hawarah, barza and Abdalan. The main ways to access this mountain are Nashur and Sarchi villages, as well as Dolaw village. This mountain has a shelter and it takes 10 hours to go back and forth. gavshan Dom lake, Sanandaj city, Abider mountain, Shaho mountain, and the eastern mountains overlooking Sanandaj city (Salawat Abad mountains) can be seen from Evalan.
